Looking for a summer experience that’s anything but ordinary? The Philadelphia School of Circus Arts (PSCA) has announced the return of its award-winning Philadelphia Summer Circus Camp, running June 16 through August 22, 2025. Designed for kids and teens ages 4 to 16, this exciting camp offers a chance to flip, fly, and juggle through a magical summer under the region’s favorite big top.

Each one-week session is held Monday through Friday from 9:00am to 3:00pm at the PSCA’s 30,000-square-foot circus campus in Mt. Airy. Kids will experience everything from aerial rope and trapeze to plate spinning, tightwire, and juggling — all led by trained professionals on real circus equipment. No prior experience is needed, and campers are grouped by age and skill level to ensure a personalized and fun experience for everyone.

Camp age groups are:

  • Kinder Camp (ages 4–5): June 16 – July 25
  • Junior Camp (ages 6–7): June 16 – August 22
  • Youth Camp (ages 8–12): June 16 – August 22
  • Teen Camp (ages 13–16): July 28 – August 22

Campers start their day with warm-ups, followed by rotations through various circus disciplines like acrobatics, aerials, and balance skills. After lunch, they’ll dive into creative workshops and supervised open practice. Every camp session wraps up with a special performance for families, giving kids the chance to show off what they’ve learned.

New for 2025: PSCA welcomes Charlie Collins as the new Circus Camp Director. Collins brings a fresh energy to the program, with plans to expand the teen experience through new elements like trampoline, acro, and parkour. As an experienced coach and performer from Trenton Circus Squad, Collins is ready to inspire the next generation of circus stars.

Extended care is available from 3:00pm to 5:00pm for Junior, Youth, and Teen camps (not available for Kinder), offering even more time to explore the circus arts.

The cost is $475 per week, with extended camp available for an additional $25 per day. Space is limited and spots fill quickly, so early registration is encouraged.
